At a luncheon in her honor at The Friars Club in Manhattan Thursday, Fran Drescher (The Nanny) shared a details about the television show she and Rosie O’Donnell are in the process of developing — a show that they would costar in if it becomes a reality.

“It’s called The New 30, and it’s about old friends who are living very different lives, but they live in the same building in Murray Hill, Manhattan,” Drescher explained. “It’s basically about middle-aged women on the verge of a midlife crisis.”

If any studio/network exec greenlights this travesty they should be shot in the face. 97% of the stuff on television is utter garbage, we don’t need to risk blowing up the system with a show about two woman nobody would want to see have a midlife crisis. Well I take that back, given they’re having a midlife crisis there’s a chance they’ll go on a 2-week booze and sex binge. Now before you go and place your head in the guillotine to remove the image of Rosie O’Donnell naked from your mind, keep in mind that we have invented the TV remote, or in extreme cases, battle ax, to take care of that sea cow’s screen time. With that out of the way we have the possibility of a naked Fran Drescher getting hot and wild, and besides her murder-inducing voice, she can look pretty hot when she wants to…. plus she has a huge rack.
